It will examine tax benefits under the IRS private letter ruling (PLR) 2006 200 25 as well as the (d)4(a) transfers and the financial impact on the beneficiary. Additionally you will learn and gain valuable practical tools to make objective decisions on whether or not to invest client funds or keep in cash, along with 7 things to avoid as a trustee.\n \nAbout the Speaker\n \nDarryl Lynch works with Conservators, Guardians and Trustees and recommends best practices for attorneys and fiduciaries across the country. Shortly after earning his MBA from Duke University in Durham, NC he began his over 35-year career with Oppenheimer & Co. Inc. in the financial services industry. Originally growing up in the St. Louis area, he now resides in Kirkland, WA. Darryl is a member of the National Guardianship Association (NGA), the Washington Association of Professional Guardians (WAPG), Special Needs Alliance (SNA), Academy of Special Needs Planners (ASNP), ElderCouncil, and serves on the Center for Guardianship Certification Review Board. He has taught classes and given many presentations for Continuing Education for various associations of Professional Guardians, Attorneys, Judges and Fiduciaries.
