We will review the power of the CRT for bypassing taxes, increasing income, and making a charitable gift. The tax savings and increased earnings can overcome a clients lack of charitable intent. Recent changes and uses of the rules of CRTs will also be discussed as well as some case studies.\n \n \n \nAbout the Speaker\n \nKit Mac Nee has established herself as a trusted advisor in estate planning and financial management currently with the Envision Legacy Group with Morgan Stanley. Since 2013, Kit Has been an advisor at Morgan Stanley, where she has championed best practices, led educational presentations in estate and financial planning, and fostered collaboration among industry leaders. \n \nHer commitment to financial services began with her tenure at Merrill Lynch immediately after receiving her undergraduate degree from the University of Minnesota Carlson School of management and then began again from 2005 to 2014. Earlier in her career, she served as the Director of Gift Planning with what is now the Inland Empire Community Foundation from 1999 to 2005. These experiences have cemented her reputation as a dynamic leader in financial planning and legacy planning. \n \nKit holds a Bachelor of Science degree in business, finance and management.
