Ready to dig into Arizona property law without falling into a sinkhole? Join us for a lively and practical deep dive that is designed by a real estate attorney, a CPA and a real estate agent for estate planning professionals who want to stay sharp when it comes to real property issues.

We’ll start by breaking ground on deeds and other property transfers, demystifying how title actually moves (and sometimes doesn’t) in Arizona. From beneficiary deeds to joint tenancy quirks, you’ll walk away with a familiarity on transfers of real property leaving no loose ends in the desert winds.

We’ll then turn to fiduciary considerations in selling real property from trusts and estates, where technical rules meet real-world judgment. From duties of loyalty and prudence to pricing strategy, marketing decisions, disclosure obligations, and navigating beneficiary tensions, we’ll cover how fiduciaries can manage risk while fulfilling their obligations—and how advisors can guide them through what is often the most scrutinized transaction in an administration.

Finally, we’ll uncover what’s lurking beneath the surface with mortgages, deeds of trust, and other liens. Who really has priority? What survives death? And how do these encumbrances affect your carefully crafted estate plan? We’ll connect the dots so you can anticipate issues before they become costly surprises.

Packed with practical tips, real-world examples, and a touch of humor, this session will help you navigate Arizona’s property landscape with confidence. Because when it comes to real estate in estate planning… it’s better to know the terrain before you’re stuck in quicksand.

Come for the knowledge—stay for the clarity.
